- The olive wood products are crafted in Bethlehem by the Giacaman Family. Ibrahim Giacaman, a master wood carver, shapes the olive wood into one-of-a-kind Nativity figurines and Christmas tree ornaments. Ibrahim is a fourth generation Christian wood carver who, along with his father, Salem, runs the largest olive wood factory in Israel. The family uses the olive branches pruned from olive groves for all of their carvings – trees are never cut down for the wood. The branches are dried for a year or more before the wood is ready for use. Great care is taken in selecting, drying and carving, to showcase the beautiful grains of each piece. Small cracks, imperfections and grain variation are part of their natural appeal. Ibrahim first learned to carve from his father and grandfather, Elias. He studied art and sculpture in Bethlehem and later at the Academy of Fine Art in Florence, Italy. At the family business in Israel, where his father, three brothers and two sons also work, Giacaman creates all the designs and personally finishes and polishes each piece.

Returns
Item is unworn, unwashed, unaltered, has no makeup stains, has no deodorant stains, has no animal hair, has no smells of smoke, are not final sale and items fall within the date ranges specified in the Return Policy. If you answered YES to all of these, you will be eligible for a return. Please refer to the Return Policy below. Once jewelry has been worn, it cannot be returned.
RETURN POLICY Due to items selling out quickly, we may not be able to offer exchanges. Customer is responsible for return shipping fees. Refunds will be in the form of a store credit that will be applied to your account for regular priced items (sale items are final) that are postmarked by 14 business days of the delivery date. Once we receive your return, please allow 5-7 business days to process your return for store credit.
DEFECTIVE ITEM If you have received a defective item, please contact us at sharon@byronprinting.com within 2 business days of receiving your shipment. Please include written details about the defect and attach pictures.
